Mimou Corner is a listings site that connects people looking to rehome, sell, breed or find a pet in Morocco. By using the site, you accept the terms below.
1. What Mimou Corner is, and what it is not
Mimou Corner hosts listings published by its members. We are not a seller, a buyer or a broker: we hold no animals, we verify neither their health nor their origin, and we are not party to any agreement between members. No payment between members passes through the site.
2. Your account
Browsing listings requires nothing. Creating an account means signing in with Google: we never see your Google password and we ask for no access to your other Google data.
Publishing a listing or contacting a member additionally requires a phone number, so that a buyer can reach you. That number is not a way to sign in; it is confirmed by code where that is technically possible. An account belongs to one person, whose details must be accurate. You are responsible for what is published from your account.
3. What you may publish
- A real animal that you own or are responsible for, described honestly — age, health, vaccination, breed. A breed stated without papers is a claim, not a guarantee, and the site displays it as such.
- Photos of that animal, taken by you or which you have the right to use.
- Lost-pet reports are free, without exception and without a time limit.
4. What is forbidden
- Asking for or sending a deposit, an advance or any transfer of money before the animal has been seen in person. This is how very nearly every scam we see works.
- Publishing a misleading or duplicate listing, or one for an animal you do not have.
- Offering a species whose sale or keeping is forbidden or regulated in Morocco, in particular wild or protected species.
- Any listing involving animal fighting, cruelty, or the transfer of unweaned puppies or kittens.
- Using contact details obtained on the site for commercial soliciting.
5. Moderation
Every listing is read by a person. We may hide a listing, ask for a correction, or suspend an account that does not respect these terms. A hidden listing stays visible to its author, with its status, in their profile. Decisions are recorded; if you believe one is a mistake, write to us and we will look at it again.
6. What costs money
Publishing is free. Some promotion options are paid and are billed by Mimou Corner. We take no commission on transactions between members.
7. Your content
Your photos and your words remain yours. By publishing them you allow us to display them on the site and in the previews of shared links, for as long as the listing stays online.
8. Liability
Meet the person, see the animal, and only then pay. We make introductions; we guarantee neither the accuracy of a listing, nor the good faith of a member, nor the outcome of an exchange.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. They may change; the date they were last updated is at the top of this page.
